SUSD school libraries subscribe to BookFlix, a set of online “eBooks” that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks. You can access this resource anywhere there is an internet connection.

You will find the link to BookFlix in the Digital Resources section of the Cochise Library web page. You will need to log in to School Fusion to access this resource.

Note: Many of the animations and videos are in flash format and will not play on iPads and iPods.

Healthy Packs Program

It is a sad fact that some SUSD students do not have enough food at home to get them through the weekend. The Healthy Packs is an effort to fill the backpacks of these students every Friday with some nutritious meals and snacks. Healthy Packs began at ANLC and expanded to Tonalea last Spring with the collaboration of various community groups. We need YOUR HELPto expand the program to other SUSD schools.

HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Deposit Donations in the Healthy Packs donation box in your school office. The SUSD Healthy Packs Program needs your donations of child-friendly, shelf-stable, individually packaged, NUTRITIOUS food. Please drop off donations of canned meals, soup, tuna, fresh fruit, and shelf-stable milk boxes in the box in the school office.

Donate money that will be used to purchase food, as needed.Checks should be made payable to Concerned Citizens for Community Health (CCCH) with “Healthy Packs” in the memo line, and sent to:
