 There are lot of opportunities to get involved with the APT.

 We could use your skills in Accounting, Fundraising, Hospitality, Event Planning and more. This is an opportunity to be part of your child education and elementary experience. We meet once a month. Depending on the make-up of the Board. We can accommodate those schedules of working parents by meeting before school, lunch, after school or evenings. We strive for a diverse board that will give a voice to all of the children and families.
The goal of the Cochise Association of Parents and Teachers (APT) is to enhance and support the educational experience at Cochise, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and to improve the environment at Cochise through volunteer and financial support. The APT injects an average additional $135,000 per year into Cochise, so its success is vital to supporting our teachers, kids, purchasing school equipment and supplies, and funding school activities that make lifetime memories for families.

The APT supports: K-5 Aides, Classroom Technology, Classroom Literacy, Library, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Teacher and staff continuing education, Art Masterpiece, Trekkers, Veteran’s Day celebration, Fall Carnival,  Spring Decades Dance, Young Authors’ Day, Creative Arts Festival and a variety of on-campus events to enrich our students educational experience.
